Say Hello to "Lu"
Bette Lu Bentley Layne enjoys painting a wide variety of subjects, always aware of the interplay of light and dark, and always looking for a joyous way to interpret the shadow side of life. From the individual shape and personality of palm trees, to the big skies of a landscape or seascape, or to the delicate flowers of a still life, all are available for her creative mind to re-examine life from a different perspective.
In addition to art shows from North Carolina to Florida, "Lu" participates in the sixteen day Piccolo Spoleto Outdoor Art Exhibit every May in Charleston, South Carolina. As an award winning artist her work is in private collections around the world.
